In front of a jump, a ground pole is allowed directly under first part of vertical or oxer, aligned the vertical plane, OR up to 1m (3’3”) away.

A ground pole cannot be placed further than 1m (3’3”) away from the vertical plane of the front rail.

When used with a vertical, if a ground line is placed on the take-off side, a ground line is allowed on the landing side, at equal distance.

When ground poles are used in front and in back of a vertical they must be equidistant. Do not place one of the poles further out than the other.

When used with an oxer, or spread jump, a ground line is allowed on the take-off side.

It is NEVER allowed on the landing side.
